Chronicles of War: The Price of Warmth

There is a heating pipe near our flat. When it’s warm in winter, Tasya likes to stroke and hug it. After another Orc attack, when the pipe suddenly goes cold, Tasya gets upset and asks many questions about the sad life of the cold pipe.

And when it warms up again, even just a little, Tasya is incredibly happy. She strokes the pipe and whispers passionately: “Thank you, thank you, thank you…”

A True Story: Active Listening

In recent days, the restoration of energy facilities has claimed the lives of an incredible engineer, Oleksiy Brecht, and a fantastically courageous rescue climber, Oleksandr Pitaichuk; another energy worker was wounded in the Mykolaiv region. These are only the tragedies I know by heart, without having to look them up.
